Microsoft has identified and is actively correcting a pricing issue affecting partner margins for Microsoft 365 Business Basic + Microsoft 365 Copilot Business bundle offerings. The issue resulted in partner margins being inadvertently published at 0%, causing incorrect Estimated Reseller Price (ERP) values to appear in price lists.

Issue Overview

The pricing discrepancy affects CSP direct bill partners, CSP indirect providers, and CSP indirect resellers globally. Microsoft has confirmed that updated partner margin values and corrected ERP pricing are currently being published, with the fix becoming effective February 7, 2026.

Partners should note that while the correction takes effect immediately on February 7, public price list values will reflect the updated pricing on March 1, 2026, in accordance with Microsoft standard monthly release schedule.

Microsoft Response

Microsoft is taking proactive measures to address this issue comprehensively. The company will automatically identify all impacted subscriptions and issue refunds or credits for eligible transactions completed between February 1-7, 2026.

No action required from partners. Corrected margins and ERP pricing will automatically apply to all new purchases and renewals beginning February 7. Microsoft will process applicable refunds or credits automatically.
