Microsoft has rolled out several updates to the AI Cloud Partner Program this month. If you hold specializations or are working toward Solutions Partner designations, here's what changed.
Specialization Percentage Rounding (Effective Feb 13)
Growth rate calculations for specializations now round to the nearest percent. A growth rate of 34.52% now rounds to 35% instead of being truncated.
This is a small change with real impact — it makes it easier to meet performance criteria for these specializations:
- Microsoft Low Code Application Development
- Intelligent Automation
- Business Intelligence
- Small and Midsize Business Management
- Adoption and Change Management
- Teamwork Deployment
If you were close to qualifying, check your numbers again.
Business Applications Usage Growth Metric — Better Visibility (Effective Feb 27)
The customer success — usage growth metric UI for Business Applications Solutions Partner designation has been updated. When you select View Details in Partner Center, you can now see:
- The score calculation
- Whether the baseline threshold is met
The metric itself hasn't changed — just the visualization. But better visibility means you can track your progress more accurately.
